Campaign News
On Monday, October 12, I joined fellow Green Party candidates from across the country for the EcoAction Candidate Webinar, hosted by the EcoAction Committee of the Green Party of the United States.
The conversation brought together candidates running for local, state, and federal office to discuss the environmental challenges facing our communities and the policies needed to build a more sustainable future.
We explored critical issues, including an ecosocialist Green New Deal, the environmental impacts of AI data centers, Rights of Nature, single-use plastics, and sustainable agriculture.
For me, environmental justice is inseparable from economic and social justice. Clean water, affordable housing, food security, reliable infrastructure, and access to healthcare are interconnected systems that shape our everyday lives.
As a candidate for Minnesota State Senate District 39, I believe we must move beyond reacting to environmental crises and begin building systems that protect our natural resources, strengthen our communities, and serve future generations.
I'm grateful to the EcoAction Committee for creating space for these important conversations and to my fellow candidates for sharing their perspectives.
